A MAN has been stabbed in Bournemouth town centre.
The man has been taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries following the incident on Saturday evening, May 13.
Police were called to reports a man had been stabbed at 8.02pm in Old Christchurch Road.
Officers attended and found a man with injuries.
A Dorset Police spokesperson said the man had sustained a stab wound to the abdomen.
Multiple police vehicles and officers attended the scene.
A cordon was put in place outside the former House of Fraser department store.
The police tape stretched across the front of the neighbouring Roddis House building and the Nationwide Building Society unit.
Glass could be seen on the ground inside the cordon.
An ambulance can was parked in nearby Yelverton Road.
The spokesperson said enquiries are ongoing.
