Here is a selection of animals from the Ashley Heath Animal Centre in Dorset who are looking for their forever home.
Located on the border with Hampshire, the centre offers care for its animals in rural surroundings.
A few animals from the centre are listed below but more can be found on the centre's website.
If you wanted to donate to the Ashley Heath Animal Centre to support their work you can do so at their website.
William
Gender - Male
Age - Two years old
Breed - Domestic Shorthair crossbreed
Colour - Ginger and white
If you want to adopt William you can view their full profile here.
Williams is described as a "quirky" and "affectionate" cat who came into the care of the RSPCA as his welfare needs were not being met.
On arrival, he was scared of people and panicked when given access to open spaces, but the staff at Ashley Heath have been working to build up his confidence.
He will likely be scared with the change in environment at a new home, but once settled he would benefit from having someone around for part of the day as he does enjoy human companionship.
Cindy
Gender - Female
Age - 11 years old
Breed - Labrador Retriever crossbreed
Colour - Yellow
If you want to adopt Cindy you can view their full profile here.
Cindy is a dog who is looking for her forever home after her owner sadly passed away.
She's described as a "very sweet, elderly girl" who is looking for a safe space to relax and play with her toys.
Ashley Heath Animal Centre adds: "Cindy has a monthly injection to help with pain/stiffness in her hips which she will need to continue. She doesn't like to use stairs, so will need a home with plenty of space downstairs (if a two storey), and access to a garden that doesn't need stairs to get to."
Gomez
Gender - Male
Age - Two years old
Breed - Domestic shorthair crossbreed
Colour - Black
If you want to adopt Gomez you can view their full profile here.
Gomez came into the Ashley Heath Animal Centre from a large multi-household of 88 cats, and he now wishes to find a loving new home.
He has not had a lot of human socialisation so is quite nervous of people and will need understanding owners to help him settle into a new home environment.
Once Gomez gets to know you, he enjoys a fuss and likes to play with toys.
Cyril and Elle
Gender - Male (Cyril) and female (Elle)
Age - Six to 12 months
Breed - Domestic
Colour - White
If you want to adopt Cyril and Elle you can view their full profile here.
Cyril and Elle came into the Ashley Heath Animal Centre after being found abandoned with other rabbits.
Now they are ready to find a new home together, which will need plenty of space so they can explore and grow into their full adult size.
When they first came into the centre they both were very nervous of people and being handled.
However, they have become a lot better since then and with time their confidence will likely improve further.
