THOUSANDS of festival goers will enjoy party anthems and crowd favourite bands this bank holiday weekend with a top line up performing in Dorset.
From Friday afternoon until Sunday evening, Upton Country Park hosts Ultimate Festivals for a music event featuring stars from the 90s, noughties, and today.
“We can see it's going to be a great weekend with brilliant weather matched by a music line up that's out of this world and right on our doorstep,” said festival organiser Serena Wren.
“Everyone is welcome to bring their own food and drink, relax and have fun in the sun while being entertained by some incredible music, from rock classics and pop hits to dance anthems played by a stunning 40-piece classical orchestra.
“And there's still time to take advantage of some very special last-minute ticket deals.”
Friday saw the hosting of legends night featuring George Michael tribute Wayne Dilks' critically acclaimed show The George Michael Legacy, followed by ABBA Arrival UK and Queen tribute Flash.
Saturday's instalment of the Ultimate Tribute Festivals is an indie/rock night kicking off at lunchtime with the Stereoironics, followed by the Hot Red Chilli Peppers, Killers tribute Killerz, the Foo Fakers, and Kings of Lyon.
Saturday's headliners are Oasis tribute band Oasiss.
Sunday's Ultimate 90s & 00s Festival kicks off after lunch in the capable hands of DJ Brandon Block and a set of classic tunes including 'Dreamer', 'Don't Stop Movin'' and 'Follow the Rules'.
The revitalised East 17, lead by original member Terry Coldwell, will be playing all their hits.
Noughties chart toppers Blue – reformed with original members Lee Ryan, Duncan James, Anthony Costa and Simon Webbe – will also perform.
A grand finale is to be performed by Ibiza Proms in the Park, a 90-minute set of dance anthems performed by the 40-piece Secret Symphony Orchestra.
On-site parking is bookable in advance and gates open at 4pm on Friday, noon on Saturday and 1pm on Sunday.
