TWO men have been ordered not to return to a road after they were found with rucksacks full of suspected stolen meat.

A 22-year-old and a 36-year-old have been ordered by police not to return to two roads believed to be in Boscombe and Southbourne.

The ban comes after police stopped the pair in Christchurch Road, Boscombe on Thursday and discovered the contents of their rucksacks to be full of meat and other suspected stolen items.

Both men were arrested and subsequently charged. The 22-year-old was charged with three theft offences and an assault on a shop worker and the 36-year-old was charged with two theft offences.

A Bournemouth Police spokesman said: “They both have bail conditions not to attend the roads where the crimes were committed.

“We will relentlessly pursue criminality and bring offenders to justice.”
