FIVE people were injured after a bus and car crashed in Poole.
Two people were rushed to hospital with non life threatening injuries. The incident happened at around 4pm on Wednesday.
An M1 bus was driving along Richmond Road in Parkstone when it hit a car exiting Courthill Road.
A spokesperson for the Southwestern Ambulance NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) said: “We were called to an incident in Parkstone area. We sent three double-crew land ambulances, an operational officer and a doctor. All five individuals were taken by ambulance to Poole Hospital.”
Morebus general manager, Richard Wade said: “The ambulance crew gave attention to four passengers on-board the bus, along with our driver. Thankfully all injuries appear to be minor.
"The road was closed for a period afterwards until the vehicles could be moved, and the m1 had to be diverted. There were some gaps in service along the route, while buses stuck in the immediate aftermath were cleared. I’d like to apologise to inconvenienced customers and thank them for their understanding.”
