THREE children, including a 12-year-old, have been arrested on suspicion of robbery after teens had their phones and cash taken.
Two 14-year-old boys were in Broadway Lane, opposite Muscliff Primary School in Bournemouth, at around 8.30pm on Wednesday, May 10.
They were approached by a group of male teenagers on bicycles and were allegedly grabbed by members of this group and had their phones and some cash stolen.
Following detailed enquiries by the police, three boys from Bournemouth – one aged 12 and two aged 16 – and a 16-year-old Poole boy were arrested on suspicion of robbery and have been released on bail.
Police Constable Marco Zengarini, of the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Neighbourhood Enforcement Team (NET), said: “I would like to reassure the public that we will respond to reports of this nature and will continue with our thorough investigation.”
