Toys R Us has opened the doors to its new store in Poole.
The Toys R Us shop-in-shop is located at WHSmith in Falkland Square at the Dolphin Shopping Centre.
The new shop-in-shop stores come after Toys R Us signed a sub-licence agreement with WHSmith to trial nine Toys R Us stores in the UK, beginning in 2023.

Toys R Us used to occupy a store at Nuffield Industrial Estate in Poole, however sadly closed its doors in 2018 to make way for a Smyths Toys superstore.
The children’s shop-in-shop initially opened on June 29, with a grand opening event taking place on July 8 to welcome new customers.
A special guest, the infamous Geoffrey the Giraffe joined the WHSmith team for an official ribbon cutting when the store opens at 8.55am, before greeting visitors to the store throughout the morning from 8.30 – 8.50am.
The first 40 children visiting the store on July 8 will also receive a free Toys R Us goody bag worth over £20.
The new shop will also feature a key range of products and activities from top toys brands including Barbie, Bluey, Fisher Price, Hot Wheels, LEGO, Marvel, Paw Patrol, Peppa Pig, Playmobil, Star Wars and more.
Children will also be able to tire themselves out on the latest products and play hands-on with their favourite toys at the demonstration tables in store.
The toy company, founded in 1985, became the first children’s toy supermarket globally.
But by 2017, the company went into bankruptcy after owing debts of more than £3.5 billion.
