A LUXURY lifestyle brand is set to open a new store in the heart of Ringwood.
The White Company will take its place in The Furlong shopping centre this summer, as part of a unit shift involving existing clothing store Joules.
Originally launched in Market Harborough last year, The White Company’s curated store concept offers a showroom experience and houses lifestyle products and luxury gifting.
The brand will occupy the large unit currently occupied by Joules, however Joules will instead move into the smaller neighbouring unit – which has been empty since Paperchase closed.
Joules will shut temporarily at The Furlong from July 14 in order to undertake the move. The brand’s presence in Ringwood survived a recent cull of 19 other branches nationwide.
The White Company says it is “delighted” to move into the shopping centre, which is home to brands including Sweaty Betty, Clarendon Fine Art, and Whistles.
Director of property Sarah King said: “The White Company thrives in market towns and this store is a great fit for the business.
“Our store experience and integrated digital offer will enable us to bring our perfectly curated edit of home, clothing, fragrance and The Little White Company to customers in this well-established centre.”
The new store will join the more than 60 sites across the UK and will be the first in the New Forest.
Charlie Reed, marketing director for The Furlong, told the Echo: “We are delighted to be welcoming The White Company to The Furlong later this summer.
“We are thrilled that they have chosen Ringwood as their destination of choice for their gorgeously curated store.
“We believe their unique range of lifestyle and gifting products will complement our existing retail mix and also attract new customers to our market town.”
The new store is another positive for The Furlong following the recent openings of the Futon Company and Perfumery & Co.
The White Company’s full collection will be available to order instore, with assistants on hand to guide customers through their selections.
It is hoped The White Company will open in Ringwood in or shortly after August.
