A BMW was pulled over and suspected class A drugs was found in the vehicle.
Police stopped a BMW 5-Series in Bournemouth last night (July 11) during “pro-active patrols” in the area.
Officers stopped the black car and a search of the occupants and vehicle was carried out where some suspected class A drugs was found.
This was then seized and police say the driver admitted to not having insurance and was driving while holding a provisional licence.
Police took the car off the road and a man is assisting officers with their enquires.
A spokesman for Bournemouth Police said: “Officers from Bournemouth North have been carrying out pro-active patrols throughout their night shift.
“This vehicle was stopped, a search of the occupants and the vehicle resulted in some suspected Class A drugs being located and seized.
“The driver admitted to not having insurance and also driving whilst holding a provisional licence.
“The vehicle was taken off the road and the male is assisting officers with enquiries.”
