A MAN was found dead at his home in Poole, an inquest has heard.
The body of Francisek Aktunovic was discovered at his home address in Preston Road on July 5 after his family raised concerns for his welfare.
Mr Aktunovic, a 43-year-old delivery driver originally from Vilnius in Lithuania, was unresponsive and pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics who attended.
An inquest into his death opened on Wednesday, July 12, at Bournemouth Town Hall where coroner Victoria Cook heard evidence from coroner's officer Philippa Morgan.
At the short hearing, Ms Morgan said police and paramedics attended the home following concerns raised by the family of Mr Aktunovic.
She said police ruled there were “no suspicious circumstances” surrounding his death.
His body was identified by making comparisons with his passport.
A postmortem examination undertaken by Dr Robert Blahut on July 10 determined Mr Aktunovic, who was described as divorced, died as a result of hanging.
Mrs Cook formerly adjourned the inquest for a further hearing to be held on February 16, 2024.
