A ZOMBIE knife was seized from a man during a weekend of action in Bournemouth Lower Gardens.
Officers stopped and searched a male on Saturday evening (July 15).
The search uncovered a large zombie-style knife, cannabis, and equipment used in drug supply.
This was part of Operation Fireglow which involves Dorset Police working with teams at BCP Council to protect young and vulnerable people, while preventing violence, disorder and anti-social behaviour in the town.

An officer from the Bournemouth North Neighbourhood Policing Team said: “The male has been assisting police with our enquiries. I was incredibly proud of our team for dealing with the incident so courageously and for taking the knife into police possession and away from our streets.”
In a separate incident, a bottle of laughing gas was seized from the green in the Lower Gardens.
The officer added: “The negative effects of such use can be dissociation and loss of balance and memory leaving people vulnerable to accidents and being a victim of crime. So please do not misuse nitrous oxide.
“Also, it is a criminal offence to supply nitrous oxide under the Psychoactive Substances Act 2016.”
