THE timings for the Red Arrows have been announced for this year’s Bournemouth Air Festival.
The world-famous air display team will take to the skies every day at the festival, which runs between Thursday, August 31 and Sunday, September 3.
The group is one of the world’s premier aerobatic teams and they will appear on Thursday at 5.30pm, Friday and Saturday at 5pm and Sunday at 2.45pm.
The Air Festival is the UK’s biggest free air and land festival and will see planes from across Britain’s aviation history fly across Bournemouth beach.
Planes from the Battle of Britain will appear next to modern aircraft including the Royal Air Force Typhoon, which will feature on every day of the festival.
The festival will feature an impressive line-up of air displays alongside the RAF’s team, from fast jets to aerobatic bi-planes, helicopters and night air pyrotechnic displays.
It will have an RAF Village, a Royal Navy Village and an Army Village for visitors to meet the support teams that keep the display pilots flying.
Festivalgoers can go to the Ultra Energy STEM Village, featuring games and exhibitions from local companies, including virtual reality, lifeboats that save lives at seas and zero-carbon technology.
Councillor Millie Earl, deputy leader of BCP Council and portfolio holder for connected communities, said: “Bournemouth Air Festival is a huge event, with much to see and do whether that's visiting the fun fair, getting inspired at the Ultra Energy STEM Village, or being mesmerised by the aerial acrobatics. It promises to be an exciting four days.”

Red Arrows team leader and Red 1 Tom Bould said when the team confirmed their appearance this year: “We’re thrilled, as a team, to be returning to Bournemouth for all four days of the 2023 air festival.
“The event will be a highlight of our summer and with miles of beaches and a distinctive coastline, the location is a brilliant backdrop for a packed programme of world-class displays.”
The Air Festival official souvenir programme will have the up-to-date display timetable over the four days.
It will include exclusive stories about the aircraft and the aviation history of the local area.
