MEN in balaclavas were reportedly seen driving "recklessly" on a stolen motorbike in Poole.

Multiple police cars and officers attended an address in the Newtown area following the reported incident with three men arrested at the scene.

The incident occurred on July 18 in Haymoor Road in Poole.

A spokesperson for Poole Police said: “A motorcycle had been seen driving recklessly in the area with a driver and two pillion passengers - none of these individuals were wearing helmets and all had balaclavas on.

“Upon a thorough area search the vehicle was located at an address and three males were arrested at the scene under suspicion of 'theft of a motor vehicle'.

“This is proof that reporting suspicious behaviour can assist with the detection of crime and community intelligence is invaluable when it comes to locating offenders.”

Poole Police have reassured the public there is nothing to worry about.

A spokesperson said a comprehensive investigation is now underway.
