TWO people have been banned from all Co-op shops in the country after a number of shoplifting incidents.
Police have issued a banning order following a number of shoplifting reports at the Co-op in Columbia Road, Bournemouth.
The orders were issued by the Bournemouth North Neighbourhood Policing Team and mean that if the duo ignore them, they can be arrested or face legal action.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “Following on from the many reports of shoplifting from the Co-Op in Colombia Road, banning letters have been delivered to two offenders forbidding them to enter any of their retail shops across the United Kingdom.
“Ignoring this ban may result in being arrested or civil action being taken. Bournemouth North Neighbourhood Policing Teams are continuing to work with the shop and partner agencies to end their offending permanently.”
