A MANHUNT was launched after residents reported seeing a teenage boy with a possible firearm in Bournemouth.
Armed police, a dog unit and a helicopter were sent to the area around Redhill Park on Monday night where a 15-year-old local boy was arrested on suspicion of possessing an imitation firearm.
The force says it received a report at 6.55pm on August 7 of a teen with the possible weapon in the area of Wimborne Road.
Officers attended and combed the area with support from a National Police Air Service helicopter.
