DUST off your ancient antiques and polish the trinkets.
BBC television show The Travelling Auctioneers will visit Highcliffe Castle.
Izzie Balmer and JJ Chalmers will present an episode in their upcoming second series of the show at the Dorset landmark.
The auction begins at 12pm on August 15.
In collaboration with Pump House Specialist auctions, the talented pair will be exploring and selling hidden treasures and ‘restoring unwanted items to their former glory’.
One of the items up for bid is a signed colour print of Catherine Deneuve in Paris 1988 in Perspex which is expected to go for up to £7,000.
Other items include antique clocks, golden jewellery, and ancient furniture.
The pair have been travelling across the UK in their iconic blue van.
Talking about her excitement for the show, Izzie said: “I’m delighted to be joining the Travelling Auctioneers team and going on the hunt for items in need of some TLC.
“Seeing the happy smiles from owners as we raise money for them at auction will be the real jewel in the crown."
