A man has been arrested on suspicion of false imprisonment after a woman fell from a window in Boscombe.
Emergency services rushed to the scene this morning following the incident, which saw the woman suffer serious injuries.
Part of Ashley Road is taped off and a helicopter was seen circling the scene this morning.

A Dorset Police statement says: "At 9.27am Dorset Police was called to an incident at the junction of Christchurch Road, Ashley Road and Heathcote Road in Boscombe.
"It was reported that a woman fell from a window.

"Officers at the ambulance service attended and the woman was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
"A man has been arrested on suspicion of false imprisonment."
Officers at the scene told the Daily Echo that it is not known how long the cordon will remain in place.
A number of ambulances were parked outside Horizons Nursery on Ashley Road but have now left the area.
