A CYCLIST was injured during a crash with a car on a Poole 'rat run'.
Police were called to Tatnam Road, at the junction with Sterte Road, at around 5pm on Wednesday, August 16.
It is reported a car and a cyclist crashed with the cyclist suffering minor injuries.
A spokeswoman for Dorset Police said: “We were called at 5.21pm on Wednesday 16 August 2023 to a report of a collision involving a car and a bike in Tatnam Road in Poole. Minor injuries reported.”
Tatnam Road has been the subject of road safety concerns in recent years, with residents demanding that the council takes action.
Residents have called for traffic calming measures including planters to be placed on the road to slow ‘speeding’ traffic.
Furious residents previously said they were nearing “boiling point” due to cars ‘travelling at up to 50mph in the 20mph zone'.
