A LEADING early-years education provider has announced a rebrand to “better align” with the community it serves.

Tops Charminster, a nursery based in Claremont Church will now be known as Tops Muscliff after bosses felt the name better reflected the “local identity” and “strong community spirit” of Muscliff.

Despite the brand shift, Tops says its team of educators will continue to provide high-quality early years education, following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and encouraging children to explore, develop, and reach their full potential.

Jodie Robinson, nursery manager at Tops Muscliff, said: “We are excited to embrace our new name, Tops Muscliff, as we believe it truly reflects the vibrant and welcoming community we serve.

“This change demonstrates our commitment to honouring the unique identity and heritage of the Muscliff neighbourhood while continuing to provide outstanding care and education to children.”

The rebranding efforts will be visible across various physical and digital platforms, including an updated website and new signage outside Claremont Church in Claremont Avenue – just off Castle Lane West.

Tops Muscliff day nursery provides early education and care for pre-school age children a holiday club for children up to the age of 11.

Prior to the rebrand, the site was rated as ‘good’ following a positive visit in June by government inspectorate Ofsted – at which time 77 children were on its roll.

Tops Day has more than 30 nursery sites in the south, including nearby sites in Bearwood, Christchurch, Parkstone, Corfe Mullen, Wareham and Wimborne.
