POLICE concerned for the welfare of a man from Christchurch after he went missing in the early hours of the morning.
Dorset Police received a report at 7.25am on Wednesday 30 August 2023 raising concern for the welfare of 60-year-old Ian Coles.
Ian was believed to have last been seen in Everest Road at around 2am.
Ian is described as five feet nine inches tall and of medium build.
He was last seen wearing a black hooded jumper, black jeans and black trainers.
Inspector Craig Tiernan, of Dorset Police, said: “We understand Ian has been upset recently and we are concerned for his welfare.
“I am appealing to anyone who has seen Ian, or a man matching the description given, to please get in touch.
“Finally, if you see this appeal Ian – please contact us or your family as we all just want to make sure that you are OK.”
Anyone with information or knowledge as to Ian's whereabouts is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting incident number 30:66.
