MASKED and armed police swooped on a Boscombe road during a stop and search operation.
Police seized a grey BMW having followed it from Ferndown along Wessex Way.
Officers with assault rifles, and wearing helmets, could be spotted in Ashley Road at around 2pm on Thursday near Sydenhams builders merchants.
According to the county force, the BMW was seized in connection with alleged traffic offences.
Both undercover and marked police cars attended the incident.
Two men were questioned by officers, however, no one was arrested and enquiries are said to be ongoing.
