AN INFANT school in Poole was broken into “three times” by a group of teenagers over the weekend.
Teens broke into Canford Heath Infants School in Leoroyd Road on Saturday afternoon and evening.
Images of the trio were published on social media after expensive property was damaged.
The school said: “Does anyone recognise any of these young people, please? They have broken into Canford Heath Infants and Juniors three times this weekend and damaged expensive school property.
“We have caught them on camera jumping back over our fence and running away from the police at 5pm.”
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “We received a report that between 5pm and 7.35pm on Saturday 23 September 2023, a break-in occurred at Canford Heath Junior School in Leoroyd Road in Poole.
“It has not been confirmed whether anything was taken.
“It was further reported that earlier that afternoon a group of teenagers had been found in the grounds but left the scene when staff attended.”
Canford Heath Infants School has been approached for more details.
In the summer, the school received its first 'outstanding' OFTSED report and was hailed as a "beacon of excellence".
