GREEN-fingered residents can sign up for the 2024 garden waste collection services across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole.
Next year residents will get an additional collection, receiving 23 fortnightly collections.
This means the service run by BCP Council, which costs £65.50 per bin, will start two weeks earlier than previous years.
Last year charges rose by 30 per cent year-on-year from around £46 to £60.
Councillor Andy Hadley, Portfolio Holder for climate response, environment and energy said: “If you love gardening or just have a garden, then alongside home composting, this service is an invaluable one for recycling your green waste.
“It provides an environmentally friendly way of disposing of garden waste, reducing many car journeys to our recycling centres.
“The garden waste we collect goes full circle and is turned into a high-quality compost used in agriculture, horticulture and gardens, which helps with our climate and ecological goals.
“With an additional collection added on for next years’ service, it also represents improved value for money, so I encourage everyone to sign up for the 2024 service.”
Next year's collection will run from January 29 to December 13.
To receive all 23 collections for the 2024 service, residents must register for the service by December 15, 2023.
