FIREFIGHTERS had to saw through after a cat got its claws painfully trapped.
Lymington Fire Station was called following reports of an incident involving a cat at an address in Paddock Gardens, Lymington.
Holly, a 17-year-old moggy had found herself entangled in a patio table.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Holly was in pain having trapped her claws in a patio table at a property in Paddock Gardens.
“The local on-call crew were alerted shortly after 7pm, before using a saw to cut the table off the beloved pet’s leg.”
Once freed, the fire crew conducted a home fire safety visit and left Holly to continue her nine lives at home.
The incident happened on October 5.
