A MAN has been taken to hospital for treatment after a crash in Boscombe.
Officers received reports of a crash involving a car and pedestrian at 9.57pm last night in Christchurch Road, Boscombe.
Dorset Police attended the scene along with the ambulance service.
The male pedestrian was taken to hospital after receiving injuries to his leg and arm.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “We received a report at 9.57pm on Tuesday 10 October 2023 of a collision involving a car and a pedestrian in Christchurch Road in Boscombe.
“Officers attended, along with the ambulance service.
“The male pedestrian was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries to his leg and arm and officers left the scene at around 11pm.”
A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) said: “We were called at 21:50hrs on Tuesday 10 October to an incident on Christchurch Road, Bournemouth.
"We sent two double-crewed land ambulances, an air ambulance and an operations officer and conveyed one patient by land ambulance to Poole Hospital.”
