A DRUG dealer with a stash of drugs under his duvet was caught parked illegally with a blue badge in someone else’s name.

When police raided Damion Daniel Heaven’s flat in Christchurch Road, Boscombe, they found herbal cannabis, £3,440 in cash and more than 34 grams of cocaine in a bed.

Officers also found other drug-related paraphernalia and Heaven’s car parked illegally with a disabled badge outside his home.

He was arrested after the raid in September 2020, and then released under investigation.

Nearly three years later, in May of this year, Heaven was arrested again in his vehicle in Wharncliffe Road.

He was found with cannabis, and after another search of his home, officers found 35 grams of cocaine and more herbal cannabis.

Heaven, 42, appeared at Bournemouth Crown Court on Friday, October 13, after he was found guilty of three charges of possessing class A drugs with intent to supply as well as offences of fraud and possessing class A and class B drugs.

He was sentenced to five and a half years in prison.

Police constable Andrew Jennings, of the Boscombe NPT, said: “We recognise the impact drug dealing has on our local communities and we continue to take proactive action to identify those involved in the supply chain and take drugs off our streets.

“Through this investigation we were able to expose Heaven as someone involved in the supply of class A drugs and take positive action, which has resulted in him facing a significant period behind bars.”
