The 2023 event was a huge success, seeing thousands of people flock to the town to enjoy the very best food and drink on offer.

Speaking on the first day of the festival, one attendee said: “It’s fantastic. We come every year. It’s great. It’s about the people, the atmosphere and the weather.”

Organisers have now given provisional dates of Saturday, May 25, to Monday, May 27, for the 2024 festival.

Details of the event have been included in the agenda published ahead of Tuesday’s town council meeting.
