A LONG-standing jewellery store in Wimborne has made the “difficult decision” to close.
Beau Bijou has announced it will be closing its doors after 17 years in the high street and moving to online-only.
While an official closing date has not yet been confirmed, owners have said this Christmas will be the last for the store.
A closing down sale began on Saturday, October 21, and includes Christmas stock.
Beau Bijou broke the news on Facebook last week, writing: “We've had to take the difficult decision that after 17 fabulous years, this Christmas will be our last.
“Beau Bijou will continue, just not in the shop. We will still be around doing repairs, restrings and selling treasures online and will soon be able to give you some new contact details for us so stay tuned.
“We will be back with regular updates and will continue to use this Facebook page to keep in touch, so please keep an eye out.
“We would also like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you all for your support over the last 17 years, you have all been amazing, and lot of you have become more like friends than customers, we will miss you all.
"Stay tuned and stay fabulous.”
