AN ARGUMENT erupted between cyclists and dog walkers before a Bulldog-type dog bit a woman on the leg.
Police say a woman and her daughter were cycling on their bikes in Meyrick Park, Bournemouth when a man and a woman shouted at the young girl for riding too close to their dog.
An argument then broke out and the dog ‘bit the woman’ on the leg, causing bruising.
It was reported that the man attempted to hit the victim with a dog lead.
Police want anyone who witnessed the incident at around 10am on Monday, August 28, to come forward
Police community support investigator Craig Evans, of Bournemouth police, said: “We are now issuing an image of a man that we are keen to speak to.
“I would ask anyone who recognises him to please get in contact with Dorset Police as we are keen to establish the full circumstances of what happened.”
