A HIT-and-run driver who ploughed into a young mum pushing a pram has been locked up.
Dale Clark left Rebecca Sharp hospitalised after crashing his Toyota RAV4 into her in the Redhill area of Bournemouth in April this year.
The 38-year-old admitted to drink driving, failing to stop and to causing serious injuries by driving dangerously.
Clark, of York Avenue, New Milton, was 46 micrograms of alcohol in 100mls of breath – the legal limit is 35mgs.
His victim suffered a life-threatening injury, meanwhile, the baby was taken to hospital as a precaution.
Appearing at Bournemouth Crown Court this morning, he was jailed for three years and eight months.
