BOURNEMOUTH restauranteurs have said customers may not have seen the last of them after announcing the closure of their restaurant.
Moose Kitchen, in Bourne Avenue, closed over the weekend after six years of trading in the town centre.
Owners said the Canadian restaurant had been their “life and soul” and they will miss serving their customers.
In a statement, they said: “It is with a very heavy heart we want to tell all of our lovely customers over the past 6 years that Saturday [was] our last day trading.
“It may not be the last you see of us so keep watch on our socials. We've loved taking care of all of you and having you in our home.
“As you know we are rock and roll and the first rule of showbiz is always leave them asking for more.
“We hope you enjoyed our little slice of Canada as much as we did bringing it to you. Moose Kitchen has been our life and our soul and we are truly going to miss it and you all.”
Moose Kitchen was voted as the Bournemouth Echo’s Trader of the Week in September 2020 and had five stars on Tripadvisor, ranking eight out of nearly 500 restaurants in Bournemouth.
Initially set up in Charminster in 2017, the restaurant served Canadian food such as poutine, perogies and meatloaf.
