A SECOND man will appear in court after a fatal crash near Ashley Heath.
Dannie Thomas O’Leary, 29 and from London, has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving after 31-year-old George Greaves died following the crash.
O’Leary has also been charged with two offences of causing serious injury by dangerous driving as well as fraudulent use of a registration mark or registration document and causing death by driving a vehicle with no insurance or where the driver is unlicensed.
Emergency services were called to the crash at around 9.25pm on June 15, around 300m before the Ashley Heath Roundabout on the A338.
The crash involved a Nissan Micra and a Lexus GS300. Mr Greaves, the front seat passenger of the Nissan, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two other people who were in the vehicle were taken to hospital for treatment to serious injuries.
Yusuf Muzil, 23 and from Cricklewood in London, was the driver of the Lexus.
He was sentenced to 12 years in prison at Bournemouth Crown Court on September 29, after admitting causing death by dangerous driving and two charges of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
O’Leary has now been arrested and charged and was due to appear at Poole Magistrates’ Court today.
