MOTORBIKES stolen from the South East of England ended up in Poole, say police.
Two men from Poole have been arrested on suspicion of burglary after searches revealed a stolen motorbike.
Dorset Police say the bike had been snatched from the Thames Valley Police area, which covers Oxfordshire, Berkshire, and Buckinghamshire.
Officers from Dorset’s rural crime team seized other motorbikes which they suspect were also stolen.
A 42-year-old man from Poole was arrested and released under investigation and another man, 19, was arrested but no further action was taken.
A Dorset Police rural crime team spokesman said: “On Wednesday, we joined forces with TVP Rural Crime Taskforce and Poole Police and arrested two males from the Poole area for Burglary.
“Following searches of an address, we located one of the motorbikes which had been stolen in the Thames Valley area, earlier in the week.
“A number of other motorbikes were also seized as well as a vehicle believed to be used in crime.
“A 42-year-old male from the Poole area has been released under investigation whilst enquiries continue.
“A 19-year-old male, also from the Poole area was released with no further action being taken.”
