A MAN from Christchurch has been arrested after an alleged hate crime at London Waterloo Station.
British Transport Police have confirmed that three men are in custody after a racially aggravated altercation at the station.
The incident, which took place on Saturday, November 11 at around 5.30pm, occurred shortly after a demonstration was dispersed from the station.
Following an image appeal on Sunday, November 12, British Transport Police have arrested a 33-year-old from Christchurch.
The force has also arrested a 57-year-old from Surbiton and a 61-year-old from West Molesey.
A 90-second video was posted online of the incident at Waterloo station which showed men swearing repeatedly, including shouting “terrorist f******” and “we were born in this country”.
BTP confirmed on Monday, November 13 that the arrests had been made following the racially aggravated altercation.
