TOP toilets at a number of Wetherspoon pubs across Dorset have won awards.
A total of seven pubs have been recognised for the quality and standards of their toilets in the Loo of the Year Awards 2023.
The Mary Shelley in Bournemouth town centre and The Man in the Wall in Wimborne have both been awarded a platinum plus rating by inspectors.
The Moon in the Square in Bournemouth, The Parkstone and Heatherlands in Winton, The Blackwater Stream in Broadstone, The Lord Wimborne in Poole and The Quay on Poole Quay, have each been awarded a platinum rating.
Loo of the Year Awards inspectors made unannounced visits to thousands of toilets at sites across the UK in order to judge them.
The toilets are judged against numerous criteria, including décor, maintenance, cleanliness, accessibility, hand washing, and drying equipment along with overall management.
All of the toilets are graded silver, gold, platinum, platinum plus or diamond, with unacceptable toilets not graded at all.
Loo of the Year Awards 2023 managing director, Becky Wall, said: "The toilets at the seven pubs have been designed and fitted out to a very high standard and are both clean and well maintained.
"The pubs deserve their awards."
