A MOTORCYCLIST was rushed to hospital after a crash with a car in Christchurch.
Police and ambulances were called to Somerford Road at the junction with Edward Road on Friday, November 17 at 5.39pm.
The male motorcyclist was taken to hospital for treatment, and no arrests have been made in relation to the incident.
The Echo's traffic feed, provided by Inrix, said that Somerford Road was blocked in both directions after an accident near the Premier Inn.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “We were called at 5.39pm on Friday 17 November 2023 to a report of a collision involving a car and a motorbike on Somerford Road at the junction with Edward Road in Christchurch.
“Officers attended with the ambulance service.
“The male motorcyclist was taken to hospital for treatment.
“The road reopened at around 7.20pm. No arrests made.”
