TWO burglaries in Bournemouth have sparked a police investigation.
The county force is investigating two burglaries in the Westbourne area, including one onn Portarlington Road on Tuesday, November 14 between 4pm and 7pm.
The other break-in happened on Clarendon Road, between 1.50pm and 5.30pm on Friday, November 17.
A police van and a forensics unit were seen on Saturday morning carrying investigations for the second case.
Police say they are keeping an open mind as to whether the two burglaries are linked or not.
During both burglaries, jewellery was stolen from the homes.
Police constable John Barron, of Bournemouth police, said: “We are conducting enquiries into both incidents and would ask anyone who saw or heard any suspicious activity in the Westbourne area in recent days to please come forward.
“I am keen to hear from anyone who may have seen quantities of jewellery for sale in unusual circumstances.”
