A WOMAN was left seriously injured in a hit and run crash involving an e-scooter in Bournemouth town centre.
The woman in her 20s sustained a serious spine injury that has required ongoing medical treatment following the incident.
Police said the woman was walking in Old Christchurch Road, near to Beale Place, when she was involved in a collision with a man on an e-scooter.
It was reported the rider of the e-scooter failed to stop at the scene.
The incident happened at around 9.10pm on Monday, October 30.
Police are investigating and have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to identify as part of their enquiries.
Police Constable Sam Burlton, of Bournemouth police, said: ““I would urge anyone with information regarding this man’s identity to please contact us.”
