A WOMAN in her 50s was pushed against a wall, then to the ground, at an ATM by a man who then ran off with her money.
The woman was taking out cash from outside Tesco Express in Charminster Road when she was attacked by the man.
The victim was left with minor injuries to her ankle, back and neck during the robbery at 2.25pm on Thursday, November 23.
A 47-year-old man from Bournemouth has since been arrested on suspicion of robbery and remains in police custody.
Police constable Jack Gibson, of Bournemouth police, said: “We are continuing to investigate this robbery and I am appealing to anyone who saw or heard any suspicious activity in the area to please come forward to assist us with our enquiries.
“I am also keen to speak to a witness who it is reported was close by when the incident occurred and chased the suspect upon seeing the robbery.
“I would also urge anyone who was driving in the vicinity around the time of the offence to please review any dashcam footage to see if they have captured anything of relevance.”
