A JAPANESE restaurant in Poole has plans to add alcohol to its menu.
Tomoko Ramen in Ashley Road is seeking permission to make on and off sales of alcohol between 9am and 11pm daily.
Owners have made the request through a premises licence application submitted to BCP Council.
The application is yet to be determined and will remain open for public consultation until December 20.
Inspired by Japan’s traditional shokudo and noodle bars, Tomoko Ramen is a popular restaurant which opened in the summer of 2021.
It focuses on Japanese ramen with broths alongside a menu of classic dishes and specialities like donburi, karaage and taiyaki.
At present, its drinks menu contains tea, coffee, smoothies, soft drinks and one option of alcohol-free beer.
