A driver has been banned from the roads after they were clocked at 100mph on the M27.
Apu Acharjee was driving an Audi A6 eastbound along the M27 when he was caught speeding at 100mph.
The 41-year-old of Lonsdale Avenue, London was travelling between junctions one and two in the New Forest when he was caught by manned speeding equipment.
The national 70mph speed limit was in place at the time.
Acharjee pleaded guilty to a single count of speeding at Southampton Magistrates' Court.
He was banned from driving for 60 days and fined £300.
He must also pay £85 court costs and a £120 surcharge.
This must be paid in full by December 6.
