A MAN has come forward following a CCTV appeal in relation to a suspected hit and run crash involving an e-scooter that left a woman seriously injured.
The woman in her 20s sustained a serious spine injury following the incident in Bournemouth town centre.
The woman was walking in Old Christchurch Road near Beale Place when she was reportedly involved in a crash with a man on an e-scooter.
It was reported the rider of the e-scooter failed to stop at the scene.
The incident happened at around 9.10pm on Monday, October 30.
Last week, police issued a CCTV image of a man they wanted to identify as part of their investigation.
Giving an update, a Dorset Police spokesperson said: “Following a CCTV appeal by officers, a man has now come forward and is assisting police with their enquiries.
“No arrests have been made.”
