THREE town centre charity shops have been burgled in the early hours.
Police received a report at 3.53am on Friday morning of a break-in at a charity shop in Christchurch High Street.
Officers attended and it was subsequently established that two additional charity shops had also been broken into nearby.
Following enquiries, a 38-year-old Bournemouth man was arrested on suspicion of burglary.
He has been released under investigation as enquiries continue.
One resident reported seeing smashed glass outside one of the charity shops in the High Street on Friday afternoon.
They also said that two other charity shops had their doors boarded up.
