A number of pets in Dorset are looking for their forever homes, including at the Ashley Heath Animal Centre.

Located on the border with Hampshire, the centre offers care for its animals in rural surroundings.

A few animals from the centre are listed below but more can be found on the centre's website.

To help the Ashley Heath Animal Centre carry on their work you can donate to their website here.

Bruno

Gender -  Male

Age - 10 years old

Breed - Boxer

Colour - Brindle/White

If you want to adopt Bruno you can view their full profile here.

Bruno is a dog seeking a retirement home in an adult-only household, as he seeks a quiet life.

He can be reserved when meeting new people and likes it if you take a hands-off approach.

Being an older dog, adopters should be prepared to support him through any arthritic changes to ensure he lives a comfortable, pain-free life.

Bruno would prefer to be the only pet in the home as he likes his own space.

Mica

Gender - Male

Age - Eight years old

Breed - Domestic Shorthair crossbreed

Colour - Grey/White

If you want to adopt Mica you can view their full profile here.

Mica came into the care of the RSPCA after his previous owner sadly passed away, and he was then left on the property with a number of other cats.

Although he isn't the most confident, he loves having the time spent with him and enjoys a good bit of attention.

Mica is looking for a quiet home where he can be given the time and space to settle, and could get used to another cat.

He can also be rehomed with children 10 years and older.

If you want to adopt Horris you can view their full profile here.

Horris came into the care of the RSPCA after his previous owner sadly passed away, he was then left on the property with a number of other cats.

Whilst at the centre, Horris has really enjoyed the company of the cattery staff and volunteers and has very quickly become a huge favourite among staff.

He could go to a home where he may get used to another cat or even a calm, friendly dog that has lived with cats previously.

Additionally, he is not to be rehomed within five miles of Hastings (TN34).

Gender - Not stated

Age - Six to 12 months

Breed - Domestic

Colour - White (Yoyo) and Brown (Nesquik)

If you want to adopt Yoyo and Nesquick you can view their full profile here.

Yoyo and Nesquik are looking for a home together after being abandoned.

Nesquik is the more confident one of the pair, although they are both a little shy and timid, and it's clear they hadn't had much handling before coming into the care of Ashley Heath.

The centre is working with the pair to build their confidence and have some positive experiences.
