MOREBUS has announced its Christmas and New Year timetable.

The bus operator will run a slightly amended timetable over the festive period.

On Christmas Eve, a normal Sunday service will operate on all routes. For routes that don’t usually run on a Sunday, there will be no service.

On Christmas Day, a special timetable will operate on the m1 and m2 routes only. No other services will run.

Then on Boxing Day and New Year’s Day, a Sunday service will apply on routes 1a, 1b, 1c, 3 & 4, 5 & 5a, 6, 8, 9, 12, 13, 14, 16, 17, 22, 25 & 26, 40, X3 and X8 with special timetables on the m1/m2 & 50. No other services will operate.

On New Year’s Eve, there will be a normal Sunday service on all routes. For routes that don’t usually run on a Sunday, there will be no service. An extra journey will run on the 5a route at 12.30am.

On December 27, 28, and 29, Saturday service on all routes except 18, 24, 33, 38, 737, 119, 120, 125, 191, 193, X1, X2, X3, X6 and X8 which will run to a normal Friday timetable. Earlier journeys will be provided on routes 1a, 8, 9, 13, 14, 16, 17, 22 and 25.
