A DRIVER reportedly fled from a crash involving a parked car in Bournemouth.
A bronze-coloured Volvo V40 crashed into a parked car in Hahnemann Road in the West Cliff area just before 1.30pm on Saturday, November 25.
Police say the driver, a man in his 50s from Poole, had fled the scene.
However, he was later detained nearby by officers and has agreed to attend a voluntary police interview at a later date.
Dorset Police is appealing for witnesses or anybody with dashcam footage of the crash to come forward.
Police Constable Catherine Hills, of Dorset Police, said: “We understand a white car was following the Volvo at the time of the incident and are keen to speak to the driver as they may have information to assist our enquiries.
“Also, we would like to hear from anyone who saw the manner of driving of the vehicle involved prior to the incident.
“If you captured anything of relevance on dashcam footage, please contact Dorset Police.”
