CONSULTANTS at a Bournemouth-based travel firm have been whisked to events in the Mediterranean to benefit from “game changing” training.
Not Just Travel flew 110 of its homeworking travel consultants to two simultaneous November events in Pathos, Cyprus for immersive training to level up their entrepreneurial skills.
Staying in the deluxe Pioneer Beach Hotel, 40 consultants enjoyed the company’s exclusive seven-day Millionaire’s Retreat.
Meanwhile 70 agents attending the International Mastery Retreat were hosted at the adjacent five-star Asimina Suites Hotel.
Both hotels are operated by Constantinou Bros, one of Not Just Travel’s 45 partners.
They all immersed themselves in the culture of the island, enjoying Cypriot dinners and dancing, dining in secluded taverns and experiencing wine-tasting, sightseeing trips, music and live entertainment.
Steve Witt, co-founder of Not Just Travel and its recruitment arm, The Travel Franchise, said: “In just one year, we’ve taken over 800 of our consultants on amazing trips to destinations all over the world to educate, coach, inform and enjoy the travel industry.
“There can’t be many other travel companies that do this, if any.”
The intensive training sessions covered a spectrum of topics, including business growth, strategic planning, goal setting and effective networking.
Additionally, consultants broadened their industry knowledge and gained insights into global destinations, reinforcing their expertise.
Not Just Travel consultant Martin Bristow, who attended the Millionaire’s Retreat said he “loved” it and described it as a game-changer.
He added: “The event wasn’t just a fam trip to understand about the supplier's properties, it was also brilliant to meet everybody else on the same journey.
“A real highlight was talking over dinner to consultants who have been in the business for three or four years - to understand and learn about some of their experiences - and gain knowledge in what works.
“There are lots of different ways that people are succeeding. Steve Witt and the team have provided us with tools and some learnings that will take us to that next level in business. That experience and guidance is very powerful.”
