AN ice warning is in force for the whole of Dorset this morning.
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather alert for Bournemouth, Christchurch, Poole, and the rest of the county.
The warning came into effect last night at 10.30pm and remains in place until 10am today.
A Met Office spokesperson said: “Icy patches are expected to form on untreated surfaces, especially where they remain damp following recent rainfall. “
The Met Office said there may be some icy patches on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths.
Some injuries from slips and falls on icy surfaces could occur.
People are advised to leave plenty of time when making a journey.
Foggy conditions are expected until around 9am before clearing by lunchtime to make way for sunny spells.
Temperatures are expected to feel no warmer than 1C today.
