The recent snowfall was nothing to worry about and could quite easily have been missed. But five years ago, things were very different.
It seems like a long time ago since the Beast from the East caused havoc in Dorset - a lot has happened in the years since.
Schools were closed, roads were eerily void of vehicles and people stayed cosy in the warmth and comfort of their own homes - unless they were crafting a snowman in the back garden, of course.
Train services were cancelled and people were warned to check on elderly or vulnerable neighbours.
Readers sent in their pictures of fun and misery in the white stuff as it fell in February and March 2018 - some of which can be seen in the gallery above alongside Daily Echo images.
