DORSET POLICE seized over 70 cannabis plants after receiving complaints of a 'suspicious smell' from the public.
Officers are believed to have found between 70 and 80 mature cannabis plants at a home on Holdenhurst Road in Bournemouth.
No arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “We were able to locate the factory with help from the local community who voiced concerns and suspicions about the smell of cannabis in the vicinity of the property.
“Please continue to report any concerns about drug activity in your area as this helps us tremendously in locating properties such as these.”
